Uses
Didanosine is used for treating infections caused by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). It is used in combination with other medicines to restrict the development of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
How it works
Didanosine is an antiretroviral drug, which belongs to a group of medicine called as nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). It works by stopping the virus from multiplying in the body.

increased levels of uric acid, nausea, joint pain, abdominal pain, chills, peripheral neurologic symptoms, vomiting, breast enlargement in males, muscle pain, hepatitis, tiredness, Diarrhea, loss of appetite, fever, rash, dry mouth, headache, bilirubin or abnormal levels of some enzymes., flatulence, weakness
